Brokers and Maine Enrollment Assisters (MEAs) both play a crucial role in assisting consumers with applying for coverage through CoverME.gov. Both brokers and MEAs must be trained and certified before they can assist consumers shopping for Marketplace plans.
The CoverME.gov team held webinars in October to share updates about Open Enrollment 2026. We looked at website changes and improvements to the user interface. We also reviewed new resources for our partners.

The annual training for 2026 will be available starting September 3, 2025 through the online Learning Management System (LMS).
